In response to the nationwide lockdowns during the Covid 19 pandemic, Elinor created the Homemade Knitting Machine. This enabled her to continue teaching all domestic knitting machine techniques online. Elinor created videos on how to make the machine and how to make yarn out of household items.

Jade worked alongside Elinor to develop the machine, including experimental iterations made out of forks.
